I am asked every day on what books to read? Which is the best technology? Should I get an iPhone? iPad? Mini? Kindle Fire? Which printer to use? I have decided I better open an Amazon Store so I can easily share the link! So, check back often as I will update the list every week or so!!
We all feel that way at some point! It is sales, after all. You must be disciplined and work your business, this is surely the biggest challenge in working from home! You choose when to work, how to work & the quality of your work! It is sort of like eating well & exercising-YOU must Do It!! No one will do it for you. Now after reading those statistics, what kind of business owner do you want to be?? I certainly don’t want to warm people up only to leave them hanging, and prepped and ready for the next person to walk in and get the sale. ;-) And sales can be effected by cyclical cycles, ie holidays, summer vacation, storms, etc… And you might be wondering how to maintain and even grow your business during these challenges. Today, I will share some Tips on what I have learned over the years, in this industry.
I find myself very thoughtful & grateful on Sundays. I am grateful that I own my business. That I determine when I work and when I don’t. I am grateful that my income has exploded every year since I started in direct sales. And that I don’t have to worry if we wake up in the middle of the night because one of my kids has gotten sick.
Today I want to share with you how to make a plan to DOUBLE your Income & TIME-OFF in a year! Yes, I know you can do it! But you must zero in with laser-sharp FOCUS! I learned this lesson, very recently, as I had started doing some internet marketing consulting for Mercedes-Benz, alongside my stella & dot. I struggled with the new added responsibility and learning new procedures for that endeavor. I sadly watched my stella business falter and struggled with the fact that I needed to quit working for Mercedes. I quit on Thursday. YAY! Now, I sit here & reflect on the lessons learned. Namely: STAY FOCUSED! As I look over my last 3.5 years with my stella, I have realized over 300% growth in income!
I have learned that 3 core tasks remain the most important to moving my business forward. They are-prospecting, follow-up, & planning! I know that I need to spend the majority of my time on these 3 tasks to perform at my best. And my best is not everyone else’s best, rather it is the best that I can be to achieve MY DREAMS!
Plan to Double Your Income: Apply the Law of 3
1-write a list of everything you do (tasks) to move your business forward…try doing this a few different times in a week to cover all bases.
2-circle the TOP 3 most important tasks…assign, delegate, outsource the rest!
3-now, identify the 3 most important GOALS in each area of your life. Make a plan to work towards them daily.

Here some more tips from my YouTube channel, by another favorite author, Darren Hardy:
I have blogged on blogspot for 2 years and while I enjoyed it, I am ready for a change. Maybe it is the change of the seasons, moving-AGAIN or our new holiday line launch. I just want to try something new. So let’s see what we can build here. I hope that this is an easy host-site. And I am committing to blogging about what I want to blog about, not what I think people might want to read!! That always stumped me before. I would go to blog and have writer’s block because I didn’t know what my readers would want to read. I have 40,000 readers! Can you believe that!!? I am also a little worried about starting over and having to rebuild my readership. It takes time and consistency to build a following. SOOO hopefully this new endeavor will be even more exciting! When I sponsor new stylists, I always suggest that they blog or journal about their experiences as a stylist. The journey is such an interesting process of growth and self-discovery. I think that is why I love this biz SO MUCH! In the past couple of years I have discovered a love for 2 new forms of media (for me). INSTAGRAM: sdelise AND YOUTUBE. I have an account on both and have alot fun uncovering my hidden talent.
My instagram photos have been featured on our international websites & marketing materials. It is so much fun to see your photos in print in unexpected places! Here are couple of featured pics:

So there ya have it for today!
My To-Do’s:

Check-in with my new stylists to encourage them towards SUCCESS!!!
